Let’s take a walk down memory lane. How many of y’all remember the German R&B group, Milli Vanilli? Think about it, these two fellas, Fab Morvan, and Rob Pilatus had hit songs and of course, women were just giddy over them. However, something just didn’t seem right. These two fellas hard real hard German accents but their songs were indicative of a very smooth American sounding singing voice. Well, their house of cards came tumbling down when it was revealed that Milli Vanilli was one of the greatest hoaxes in musical history. They did not sing any of their songs. As a matter of fact, when they sang live, it was utterly painful.
One of their hit songs was “Blame it on the Rain,” and this song came to mind because of a current alarmist hoax being perpetrated against the American people. One of a few instigated by the progressive socialist left.
As reported by Liberty Headlines:
“Climate change is to blame for the massive flood of immigrants seeking asylum in the U.S. and overwhelming the immigration system, according to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio–Cortez, D-NY. The socialist-loving sponsor of the Green New Deal took to Twitter on Tuesday, piling onto the Left’s favorite weather-related scapegoat, which has been blamed for everything from hurricanes to droughts, melting ice caps to record snowfalls.
The House Oversight Committee held a hearing on climate change and national security on Tuesday, during which Ocasio–Cortez claimed Congress would have “blood on our hands” if climate legislation, like the Green New Deal, isn’t passed.
“I think what we have laid out here is a very clear moral problem,” she told the committee. “If we fail to act or if we delay in acting, we will have blood on our hands.”
Republicans have slammed the Green New Deal as a ridiculous, “socialist” scheme that includes unrealistic goals, like employment for every person in the U.S. and a “sustainable, pollution and greenhouse gas free, food system” that would not depend on “farting cows.”
In other words, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is saying that we must “blame it on the rain,” or the lack of the rain, for the flood of illegal immigrants coming to America.
Perhaps y’all remember when the Obama administration, including then-Secretary of State John Kerry, blamed militant Islamic jihadism on climate change. Yeah, that is right, they were blowing folks up and heinously killing people because the weather was bad.
I will not repeat how the co-founder of Greenpeace, Patrick Moore, characterized Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, but I think we all — at least reasoned people — can agree that she is somewhat delusional.
I have done a little reading and studying, and it appears that the earth has only warmed up by about 1.1 degrees over the last 300 years. As a matter of fact, the United States of America has instituted simple policy solutions that have reduced our emissions, while not damaging our economy. The real perpetrators, China and India, are not part of the freshman Congresswoman’s equation when it comes to her grand wealth redistribution scheme called the Green New Deal. Heck, even her freshman cohort, Rashida Tlaib, is stricken with the same delusion. Consider her insidious line of questioning of financial executives during a House Financial Services Committee asking them about their banking policies and how it relates to climate change.
If you have not gotten it, New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is our political Milli Vanilli. She is just spouting some made up hoax, imposter, and the song may seem melodic, but in the end — just as Morvan and Pilatus — she ain’t doing the singing. As a matter of fact, when she tries to sing, herself, the noise is insufferable. Her fake southern accent still grates heavily on my nerves. Hoaxes come in all forms, and in many walks of life. Remember Rachel Dolezal?
Two hoaxes, Milli Vanilli and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, all singing about blaming stuff on the weather. We can laugh about Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus. However, this new religion of climate change and its greatest minister, Ocasio-Cortez, are no laughing matter. Out of nowhere comes this young, vivacious bartender who has burst onto the national stage. Just as Milli Vanilli came out of nowhere and scored Grammy-winning hit songs, their fraud was eventually revealed, and they crashed. The fake, fraud, phony, abject hoax that is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will meet the same fate. The question is whether or not she will be able to inflict damage upon our nation before that occurs.
“Blame it on the Rain” was a catchy song. But, Ocasio-Cortez’s derangement in asserting that climate change is the cause of illegal immigration is not. How funny, two hoaxes that used the weather as an excuse. Ya just can’t make this stuff up.
Oh, and I would like to dedicate the Milli Vanilli song, “Blame it on the Rain” to my progressive socialist buddy, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, view it here. Maybe she can hire someone to sing the song for her.
